On September 5 at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan a dozen of bills, which will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the sixth session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings, were discussed and endorsed.

Hovhannes Margaryan submitted the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes” with the enclosed legislative package.

Karine Atshemyan presented the package of draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Control Chamber” and “On Amending the RA Law on Human Rights Defender.”

The Committee considered the draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on State Registration of the Rights towards the Property,” “On Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code,” “On Amending the Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts,” “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements,” “On Amending the RA Electoral Code” and “On Amending the RA Civil Code” submitted by Arpine Hovhannisyan.

The debate of some bills included in the agenda was postponed by the authors’ proposal.

On the same day at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan the bill “On Amending the RA Law “On Gambling and Casinos” was debated and endorsed to be included in the draft agenda of the upcoming four-day sittings.

Ashot Markosyan, the Deputy Head of the State Property Management Department adjunct to the RA Government presented the bill “On Approving the Annual Report for 2013 of the Implementation of the Programme of State Property Privatization for 2006-2007.”

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan submitted the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Gambling and Casinos” and “On Amending the RA Law on Lotteries.”

The Committee debated and endorsed the package of bills submitted in the second reading “State Property Management” and package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes” and “On Amending the RA Law on Budgetary System.”

The Committee postponed up to one year the bills “On Amending the Turnover Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on the Use of Cash Registers,” “On Amending the RA Law on Income Tax,” “On Amending the RA Law on Guaranteeing the Compensation of the Physical Entities’ Bank Deposits” and the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Trade and Services” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Border.”

At the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment moderated by Martun Grigoryan the draft law “On Amending the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Lake Sevan” was considered.

The RA Minister of Nature Protection Khachik Hakobyan submitted the negative conclusion of the government on the draft law.

The Committee debated the draft law “On Evaluation and Expertise of the Influence on the Environment” submitted by Khachik Hakobyan.

The draft laws were endorsed to be included in the session of the fifth convocation and September 8-11 four-day sittings.

The Committee also approved the schedule of the citizens’ reception in September-December by the members of the NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment.
